Quantafuel’s strategy is to build modular plants for chemical recycling of mixed plastic waste, to be deployed at scale globally in a JV structure with strategic and financial partners.

The market potential is significant and growing in line with increased plastics use and higher recycling targets. Leading analysts suggest that chemical recycling of plastic waste will become a USD 75 billion market by 2030.

The facility in Skive is the first of a number of facilities planned, with Norway and Denmark next in line.
